Vespasian Silver Denarius with seated reverse, Ancient roman coin

This is a genuine Denarius from the emperor Vespasian who ruled from 69 to 79 AD. 35 years after the death of Tiberius, Emperor Vespasian faithfully reproduced the 'tribute penny' type of Livia seated, right down to the same reverse legend.

Obv: laureate head of Vespasian facing right.
Rev: Vespasian seated right, on curule chair, holding a sceptre and a branch.
