This is a genuine Denarius from the emperor Vespasian who ruled from 69 to 79 AD. On the reverse it features Vespasian seated right, holding a scepter and a branch. 35 years after the death of Tiberius, Emperor Vespasian faithfully reproduced the 'tribute penny' type of Livia seated, right down to the same reverse legend.
It is in very fine condition which is amazing for being over 1800 years old with such crisp details and would be a fantastic addition to a numismatic collection.
