Very Fine Roman coins with sand patina, 3rd century ancient Antoninianus
Low stock: 1 left
These are some great coins from the late Roman empire, minted in the 3th centuries by various emperors such as Aurelian, Gallianus, Probus, Carinus, Claudius and more. Created during a turbulent time of the Roman empire when a string of emperors rose to power and were killed off in quick succession. Originally the Antoninianus had a value of 2 denarii as shown by the radiate crown on the emperor with a good weight of silver but at this time of unrest the coins had hardly any silver content and so have a basic bronze look to them. A very interesting time in history to collect.
They have a lovely brown applied patina to them which highlights the details really nicely which is great for identification and could potentially be cleaned further if desired but wouldn't be far off how a roman would have seen their coins in their hands over 1700 years ago!

Paid for 2 Roman Coins. Received one coin. Definitely not recommend.
Hello Reginald,
I was unaware that you have had an issue with your order, I see from our records that you selected one coin, C, from a listing that showed both sides of the coin, so that is what we sent to you and not 2 coins. If you could please let us know if the listing is misleading or unclear that would be very helpful so we can make sure this does not happen in the future. Please let us know at VPUKcoins@gmail.com
Thanks
