This is a genuine Denarius coin from the emperor Marcus Aurelius who ruled from 161-180 AD. The reverse depicts Roma seated left on a shield, holding a Victory and a spear.
This is a genuine coin that was minted in Rome over 1800 years ago and would have been a days wages for a skilled labourer or a soldier of the time.
