Crispus Roman coin with Jupiter reverse, ancient Nummus
Crispus Roman coin with Jupiter reverse, ancient Nummus
Low stock: 1 left
This is a genuine coin from the emperor Crispus, son of Constantine and was Caesar between 317-326AD and minted in Cyzicus. On the reverse it features Jupiter standing left, holding a Victory on a globe and sceptre, an eagle at his foot to the left with a wreath in its beak, a bound captive to his right.
It is in great condition which is amazing for being over 1700 years old and with such crisp details and would be a fantastic addition to a numismatic collection.
Size: AE3 (21mm)
