Christian persecution issue roman coin featuring Apollo and Genius, 310-313AD

This Roman coin is part of an interesting group of anonymous civic coinage, issued at a time when the pagan authorities of Antioch appealed to Maximinus II to banish the Christians from their city. The idea was that the coins were produced to spread the word that paganism was still the law of the land. This coin dates from AD 310-313.

Obv: IOVI CONSERVATORI. Jupiter seated left holding globe and scepter.
Rev: VICTORIA AVGG. Victory hovering left, holding wreath and palm.
