This is a nice example of a silver Drachm coin from Macedonia in ancient Greece, minted by Alexander III ‘The Great' between 336–323BC.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lionskin headdress
Rev: AΛEΞANΔΡOY, Zeus seated left, legs uncrossed, holding eagle and sceptre.
