This is a lovely hammered Medieval silver penny from the reign of Edward I who was King of England from 1272 to 1307 and was minted in the city of Canterbury. Just imagine what this would have bought all those years ago.
It is in circulated condition with some wear but has a great portrait of the king so please examine the photos carefully.
